Attn: Driven VDI Repair Department. Call 800-992-1195 to Request a Quote Repair form. Send in Broken Holder as is; assembled or disassembled.

3. Quote Response: Global CNC will send you a Quote for the Live Tooling Repair after the Company Engineer evaluates all that is required to be repaired in order to restore your Broken Driven VDI to New performance standards. The Customer decides to Approve or declined the Quote. (Customer will decide based upon cost analysis whether to repair the Tool holder). If the quote is approved; we will start the repair process of restoring your Live Tooling to original performance standards. If the Quote is declined; you will NOT be charged a fee and Global CNC will return the part to you. Quote to be submitted within 1 to 2 days from receipt of Broken Driven VDI Tool holder.

4. Typical Repair Timeframe: 1 Week for Normal Repairs & up to 3 Weeks for more challenging Repairs. For Example: General Maintenance; replacement of Seals and Bearings, Realignment and re-adjusting the Tool holder normally takes 3 to 5 days. Spindle Repairs; the repair timeframe is normally 2 to 3 weeks.

5. Guarantee: Global CNC Guarantees all Live Tooling Repairs 100%.

Repair Process:

• Inspection; includes the disassembly and analysis / evaluation of defective internal parts.

• New Replacement Parts are ordered or made.

• Seals and Bearings are replaced.

• Internal Components repaired as required such as the Spindle.

• Realignment performed.

• Tool holder tested for performance.

• Live Tooling is  given a deep cleaning and thorough inspection prior to shipping.

Repair Schedule:

Live Tooling Manufacturers recommend that "Wear & Tear" sub-parts such as Seals and Precision Angular Contact Bearings be replaced as follows:

• Under Normal Use running 2 Shifts:  Repair Once Per Year.

• Under Heavy Duty Use or running 3 Shifts Non-Stop: Repair Twice Per Year.

• Tooling with Internal Coolant Capability: Repair Twice Per Year.

Cleaning Schedule:

When machining Cast Iron, Cast Aluminum or Powder Metal - Micro Particles will contaminate the Coolant and permeate the Live Tool Holder.  This will cause wear and tear on the Seals & Bearings.  Protect your Live Tooling investment by having your Live Holder cleaned regularly.

In order to maintain the Integrity, Quality and Accuracy of your Precision Live Tooling - Global CNC  recommends  cleaning the Holder to remove micro particles, chips, Coolant and oil.  This will preserve the Seals and Precision Angular Contact Bearings and the External Sealing System of the Tool.

• During the Cleaning Process; all contaminants will be removed and the Tool will be lightly oiled and re-tested for Top Performance.
